Long-acting growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog; unapproved. Two very different forms: no DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) and with DAC
CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analog that is not approved anywhere. The name covers two forms that behave and dose very differently. 'No DAC' (also called Mod GRF 1-29) is short-acting, about 30 minutes half-life per a secondary source, and is injected once to several times a day. 'With DAC' carries a drug-affinity complex and has a half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days (Teichman 2006), so it is dosed weekly or less. Only the DAC form has published human data; the no-DAC form has none that we found.
Community no-DAC pulse protocolrecommended
Community practice, not from a label or trial. Applies only to the no-DAC form; do not use it for a DAC vial. The source says 2-3 injections a day; the plan logs one.
Route: Subcutaneous injection (trial: subcutaneous).
Timing: No reliable figure found in the sources; ask your prescriber or supplier.
Secondary source: reconstituted no-DAC solution kept at 2-8 C and used within 14-21 days. Not from a label.
Community: 8-12 week courses, repeatable; no sourced rest period.
Why:
Not FDA-approved for any use. The DAC form's developer program ended; vials sold online are unapproved research products of unknown purity.

DAC form: a single dose raised mean IGF-I 1.5- to 3-fold for 9-11 days; repeat doses kept it above baseline up to 28 days (healthy adults)
